This work shows us the character of the birth of Nature in works of Art. In "Art and Nature" this is shown from two viewpoints:

  1. We are given means of expression which are none other than the materials the artist works with, stone for the sculptor, pigments, etc.

  2. As sources of inspiration and study. In this way it gives us light and its chromatic harmonies, the characters of the seasons, as the columns of primitive tree trunks rise, etc.

The formal approach of this picture is structured starting from an architectural elevation; in its spaces we see different works which represent different artisiic styles and chronologies, connected to form a unity which is the concept of art itself. This picture is the second in a three-part project called "Ages of Art".
